Job Search Skills: Interviewing Practice
Interviewing is a skill that needs practice to be developed. Using the sample questions and the information in the Behavioral Interviews, start forming your answers to these questions. You may want to try your answers out on a roommate or a friend, in front of the mirror, or with an advisor or other professional.
You can also use our Perfect Interview software to simulate the interview experience and answer on-the-fly real interview questions. Use a web camera to record your responses and then either critique yourself or review your interview with a CCO representative. You can use Perfect Interview by logging in to your myCCO Account.
Check the CCO Calendar for a list of workshops on interviewing. Once you attend a workshop on interviewing you may want to schedule a mock interview with the CCO receptionist.
