HOW DID YOU GET HERE? As an undergraduate I studied English, literature, history, and German. After completing two degrees, I began working in Student Services. A Master’s Degree in Education with a concentration in multiculturalism seemed a natural progression. During my time at Purdue University I have served in a variety of roles at the Black Cultural Center and in Residential Life. Joining the CCO is a great match where I can utilize my skills and background to focus on serving students.
WHAT DO YOU LIKE MOST ABOUT YOUR JOB? Serving, assisting, supporting and advising students on their path towards achieving academic success.
WHAT IS THE MOST UNUSUAL JOB YOU EVER HAD? One of my first jobs was as a sample model for a small, upscale clothing boutique.
FAVORITE THINGS: Traveling to visit and explore historical sites, reading biographies, attending concerts, collecting LPs, and spending time in my home library.
