HOW DID YOU GET HERE?
After graduating with an English degree from Hillsdale College in May 2023, I am excited about working at the CCO before I get a graduate degree. I am very blessed to be able to benefit Purdue in helping students find meaningful connections and careers.
WHAT DO YOU LIKE MOST ABOUT WORKING AT THE CCO?
I love the kindness of the people with whom I work, the fun peer consultants, and the meaningful relationships built with students and CCO consultants - and the frequent free food!
WHAT IS THE MOST UNUSUAL JOB YOU HAVE EVER HAD?
Every summer during high school I was a volunteer dish washer for an environmental science institute buried in the woodlands of Northern Michigan, so that was pretty neat.
ADVICE FOR STUDENTS:
Always challenge yourself to do more than what you think is possible - you'll be amazed by what you can accomplish and the meaningful connections you'll make along the way.
QUOTE YOU LIVE BY:
"Don't let your happiness depend on something you may lose." - C.S. Lewis
FUN FACT:
I wrote two novels by the time I was a junior in high school!
FAVORITE THINGS:
My favorite things include (and are not limited to) old books, my husband, playing piano, and popcorn!
