Purdue University in Indianapolis Internship and Co-Op Course Registration
For Purdue University in Indianapolis student who need to complete an internship course for credit, please follow the below steps. Once you have submitted your information and your supervisor has submitted their details, you will receive an email from the CCO office with permission to enroll in the course.
To enroll in the internship course, please follow these steps:
1. Obtain and accept an internship offer
2. Complete the form located at: Student Internship/Co-Op Course Agreement (to be filled out by student)
3. Ask your supervisor to complete the form located at: Employer Internship/Co-Op Course Agreement (to be filled out by supervisor)
4. After both forms are received, CCO will review and process them. Student will receive an email that will provide final instructions for enrollment in the internship course.
5. Once you are enrolled, you will be able to view all the assignments in Brightspace.
Forms must be completed and submitted no later than Thursday, June 18th to allow time for reviewing and processing.
- Please note that to enroll into the internship course:
- Students must be enrolled in the Purdue University in Indianapolis continuing plan.
- Internship Experience must be related to the student’s major.
- Experience must last a minimum of ten weeks and 200 hours. Construction Management internships must last 400 hours.
- You must enroll in the course at the same time you are completing your internship experience. EDDP (Butler Dual Enrollment) students will be permitted a one-term deferral to enroll during the Fall semester for summer internships and co-ops due to the unique financial arrangement with the partner institution.
- Students enrolled into internship course during the Summer may have additional costs associated. Please reach out to Division of Financial Aid for assistance.
